A Little Dirt Never Hurt

Ciera loves to play in the dirt outside.  Often when she is playing in the backyard, this is how she ends up.  She's not afraid to get dirty!

Splash Pad

The kids were asking to go to this splash pad.  It is a little farther away, so we haven't been there yet this year.  They were so excited when I told them we were going there today.  They love the splash pads that have a playground right next to it.

Sponge Balls

I finally made these again.  Camden and Ciera have been asking for them all summer.  They played with them until the sun started setting.

 

Ciera decided she wanted to take a nap.  She pushed two chairs together to make herself a bed.  I guess she wore herself out!

It's great when they eat popsicles while in their swimming suits.  We can just spray them off after!

 

Discovery Park

The Discovery Park in Pleasant Grove is still Camden and Ciera's favorite park.  They love climbing, running, and hiding here.  I loved it too when I was kid.

Once we get there, I only catch brief glimpses of Camden.  

Sometimes he might take a break in the space shuttle.

Children's Gardens

Since the Children's Gardens has been incorporated into the Museum of Natural Curiosity, we haven't visited it until today.  We always end up spending too much time in the museum and never have time for the gardens.  Camden and Ciera have really wanted to walk through the maze and play in the water at the Noah's Ark splash pad, so we went today to do just that.  They ended up spending quite a bit of time in this place just by itself.

Imagine That

Another rainy day, so the kids begged to pull out the paints again.  Ciera would paint every day if she could.  Well, maybe then she would get bored of it.

Mistand Fun

We got a mistand to help stay cool while out on the patio.  The kids love it and use it more as a water toy.
