Adventure Learning Park

Since it was such a beautiful day, I took them to their favorite park over in Pleasant Grove.  Camden never really stopped long enough for me to get a good picture.  He's always really good at immediately finding kids around his own age and starting up some sort of game with them.  They were chasing each other around, using the "rocket ship" as their headquarters, had prisoners, and had a couple bosses.  I didn't understand exactly how their game worked, but it looked like they were having a blast.  Ciera loved exploring and climbing everything.  She led me around everywhere with a cute running dialogue of what we were doing.

Discovering a New Park

We found another new park today.  It had a great playground for climbing and improving agility, a big grassy field for playing soccer, and a nice trail for riding bikes.  Camden insists we go there again soon.

Making a Splash

We tried a new splash pad and park today.  The Highland splash pad is always so crowded, and I heard this one is hardly ever crowded.  So, we headed out to Herriman to go to the Umbria Estates Splash Pad.  There was only one other family there.  It is a lot smaller than the Highland one, but the kids loved it.  Also, there are no rocks at this one for Ciera to continually climb and try to jump off of.  I was able to sit and relax while I watched them splash around instead of following Ciera around.  There was also a fun playground right next to it for them to climb on.

Playground Hop

We love to discover new playgrounds and parks.  Camden liked this one, because the tunnel cage helped make the playground equipment look like the "Death Star."

Children's Discovery Park

The Children's Discovery Park in Pleasant Grove is great for the kids.  They always love running around and exploring it.  Camden played hide-and-seek with a bunch of other kids around the same age.  He's pretty good at just joining in and playing with kids he doesn't even know.  I remember playing games like that there with friends when I was younger and loving it.

 

Spring is in the Air

We went to the park to enjoy the warm, beautiful day.  Spring is almost here!  It seemed it was the prevailing inclination.  Camden was frustrated that he had to actually wait his turn to use the swings this time.  Ciera kept saying, "People!"

Spring Fever

I'm ready for spring.  We wanted to enjoy the slightly warmer weather before the storm hits.
