Flower Treats

Camden was unable to attend a birthday party because he was too sick.  Even though he felt miserable and kept saying, "I feel so sick," he was sad he was missing out.  I tried to cheer him up a little by making some cupcakes and letting him decorate his own.  We chose to turn them into flowers in honor of our early Spring flowers.

Our First Signs of Spring

We have all been eagerly watching the sprouts shoot up from the ground, waiting for them to bloom.  These opened up just a few days ago.  Spring is coming!

Adventure Learning Park

Since it was such a beautiful day, I took them to their favorite park over in Pleasant Grove.  Camden never really stopped long enough for me to get a good picture.  He's always really good at immediately finding kids around his own age and starting up some sort of game with them.  They were chasing each other around, using the "rocket ship" as their headquarters, had prisoners, and had a couple bosses.  I didn't understand exactly how their game worked, but it looked like they were having a blast.  Ciera loved exploring and climbing everything.  She led me around everywhere with a cute running dialogue of what we were doing.

Blurry, but a cute smile

Yo-Yo Man

The Yo-Yo Man was at the library and had some amazing tricks to show the kids.  Ciera was only briefly interested, and then she just wanted to climb and explore everything.  Camden, on the other hand, was enthralled with it.  He loved all the tricks, except the one where the Yo-Yo Man was knocking quarters off people's ears.  He said that one made him nervous.

Playing Around the Playground

Camden wanted to go to the park next to the soccer field his team uses for practices.  He made a new friend there, and they ended up racing each other up and down the field.  Ciera had fun gathering rocks to take home with her.

I want to go outside!

Both Camden and Ciera like to go outside as often as possible.  Camden will eventually want to go back inside once he gets cold.  Ciera, on the other hand, never wants to go back inside.  She will say things like, "My fingers are cold, but they will get warm!"  She worries that if I think she's too cold, I will take her inside.  All of us are ready for Spring to come.

She loves to walk on the curbing
