SeaWorld San Diego

We enjoyed a day at SeaWorld today.  The first show we went to was One Ocean with the killer whales.  Ciera loved when the whales would splash the audience.  She was also thrilled each time they jumped or did flips.

Camden's favorite show was Blue Horizons with the dolphins, divers, and aerialists.  He liked how it also had a storyline.

They liked seeing the other sea life there as well.  We were lucky that it was feeding time when we viewed the penguins.  It was fun to watch them dive and chase after the fish to eat.  Ciera didn't want to leave the sea lion area.  She had fun listening to them beg for food and watching the kids feed them little fish.  When they were feeding the sea lions, they had to be sneaky and really careful, because those white birds would just snatch the fish right out of their hands as soon as they held out a fish.  It would happen so fast that it scared some of the kids.

In the Turtle Reef exhibit there was a turtle game the kids got to play.  They both enjoyed playing it, but Ciera would not let us show her how it worked at all.  The turtle she controlled on the screen just floated at the top the whole time, but at least she had fun.

We left the rides for last knowing they wouldn't want to do anything else besides that once they started.  The wagon we pulled them around in was sometimes a ride in and of itself.
