Aspiring Cook

Camden loves to make up his own recipes.  The first time he did it, he made green cookies that were very salty.  This time he made some star chocolate cookies (more like cupcakes) that actually tasted pretty good.  He listened this time when I warned that putting in a teaspoon of baking soda with only 1/2 cup of flour may not taste so good.

 

He wanted to make something he could put frosting on.  Plus, they always love licking the beaters once the frosting is finished.

Here's the final product.  I loved that even though his first attempt failed, he was willing and excited to keep trying.  Once he tasted one, he was quite exultant!  I told him he should help me find or make some good vegetable recipes.
