Growing Crystals

We grew crystals on a pipe cleaner snowflake today.  We made a snowflake out of a pipe cleaner, then we submerged it in a solution that was about 3 tablespoons of Borax to every one cup of boiling water.  Camden couldn't wait until he could take it out of the jar and feel it.  He checked on it periodically throughout the day to let me know its progress.  It finished growing after about 8 hours.
