Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

We went to the Dr. Seuss birthday celebration at Discovery Gateway Children's Museum today.  It was smaller than we expected, but the kids still had fun.  Plus, we got two free books!  Ciera was very hesitant and wary when we tried to get a picture of her with the Cat in the Hat.  We couldn't get her to turn and face the camera or lift her head up.  She was afraid to move.  The rest of the day, though, she was eagerly looking for the Cat in the Hat everywhere.  Camden decorated a hat that was "for Ciera" and made a kite.  He hates dressing up for anything, so he would not make a hat for himself.  The highlight of the visit for them was the fountain outside.  They were enthralled and didn't want to leave.  Sorry the pictures are such low quality.  We didn't have our camera so used our phone.
