Wolf Creek Weekend

This is one of Camden's favorite timeshares to visit and where he begged to go for his birthday activity.  We were surprised at how excited Ciera was when we first walked inside of the timeshare.  She went wild exploring everywhere and giggling with glee.  She especially loved climbing the stairs up to the loft and then walking back down them without anyone's or anything's help.

It was a busy weekend.  Since it was close to where his cousin was going to be baptized, we were glad to attend that as well.  After the baptism, we visited the Ogden Nature Center.  It was a great place for the kids to explore.  They had a bird house exhibit that Ciera loved.  We also got to see some birds of prey up close.  There were even some turkeys wandering around that weren't in a cage.  Ciera tried to go up and pet them, but they started gobbling warnings.  It startled her and stopped her dead in her tracks.  I wish I would have taken a picture of it, especially since the turkeys were the same height as her.

We were surprised at how large eagle nests can be.

Camden always loves the bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses at Thanksgiving Point events, so we thought we would try Kangaroo Zoo.  There was quite a good assortment of them for different age levels.  Both kids had a blast.  Afterwards, we went to an ice cream place for a cool treat.

The rest of the time was spent at the timeshare exploring their grounds and playing with Camden's new Star Wars toys.  Camden was avidly waiting to play with them at the timeshare with everyone.  He said that was his favorite part of the weekend.
