We love fall hikes. Today, we hiked from Albion Basin up to Cecret Lake. Ciera wanted to hike it by herself, but we told her she could get out once we arrived at the lake. She just replied, "We're hiking to a lake?!" Camden said he wanted to ride in the backpack, and that Ciera could walk. He was tired today.
Once we reached Cecret lake, the clouds started looking ominous. We stayed only long enough for Ciera to stretch her legs around the lake a little and Camden to enjoy a small snack. When we told Ciera we needed to head back down before it started to rain, she replied, "Ooohhh, it's windy. I need my jacket on." We responded, "You already have your jacket on." Ciera then said, "I do? No way!!!" It was pretty funny.
