Toys for Tots

I let the kids each pick out a toy to donate to Toys for Tots.  Since Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory wasn't a toy drop-off location this year, we went to Rita's Italian Ice.  After both Camden and Ciera dropped their toys into the drop box, we all tried some gelati.  Darren and I have had gelato in Italy and Utah (just not the same), but we never have had gelati.  Gelati has frozen custard on the bottom, Italian ice in the middle, and then more frozen custard on top.  It was quite delicious!  Camden shared his with Ciera.  It was cute, because he would take a bite, then feed her a bite.  She would then often pull a face from the coldness of it, and he would laugh and giggle every time.  Too bad my phone takes such poor quality pictures.

 

This is Ciera's smile now whenever we ask her to smile.  We usually have to say, "No, with both sides of you mouth.  Like this."  We think it's cute.
