We went camping with my family up by Coalville. We forgot how long it takes to set up and take down camp. The kids had a blast. Ciera loved playing with all the zippers, much to our consternation. She also loved the kid-sized camping chair, bike rides, and seeing the ducks on the stream next to our camp. Camden loved playing with his cousins, playing
Star Wars, eating s'mores, and going for bike rides.
They both loved being able to forgo more sleep to watch the fireworks. One night we had been trying to get them to sleep for over an hour, when, much to our surprise, we all heard fireworks. Ciera sat up and exclaimed, "I hear fireworks!" Both kids then began saying, "I want to see the fireworks!" Hence, we all went out to see the unexpected fireworks show. The nearby town of Coalville was apparently having a celebration. We had a great view, and their finale was impressive. Camden said it was his favorite finale ever. After that pleasant surprise, they went right to sleep.

One day we hiked the Lakeview Trail at Rockport State Park. There was even a fun nature trail that looped off the main trail. It had numbered markers illustrating various animal tracks. This made it more fun for Camden. He liked finding the next number and trying to figure out what animal track it was.
